If you are wishing to start or expand the Get Focused Stay Focused program in your organization, apply to join the second cohort of the North & East Bay Get Focused Stay Focused Pilot Program. Please feel free to distribute information about this resource opportunity to your partners.
The North & East Bay Get Focused Stay Focused (GFSF) Pilot Program helps sites defray start-up costs related to professional development and materials, and provides technical assistance on college credit and A-G. Cohort II is funded by the North & East Bay SB1070 grant.
All applicants interested in participating in the second cohort of this Pilot Program must be committed to sustainability and to collaboration with community college partners. Eligible sites must be implementing GFSF in Fall 2017 or at some point during the 2017-18 school year. SB1070 funds for Pilot sites are one-time funds, to start or scale GFSF implementation. These funds are not intended to maintain current programs. Depending on funding constraints and demand to participate in Cohort II, we may support requests for support in part rather than in full. All materials will be ordered before June 30, 2017.
If you are interested in receiving support with implementation of GFSF in your organization, please submit your response to the attached application by April 18, 2017. The response to all questions below should not exceed two pages. Please contact Janine Kaiser, K-14 Pathways Technical Assistance Provider in the North & East Bay region with questions (firstname.lastname@example.org, (510) 542-9138) and to submit your response.
