Navigating Dual Enrollment & Articulation Professional Development

This session will focus on providing attendees with a better understanding of the policies, strategies and new initiatives that play a significant role in dual enrollment and articulation opportunities for students. Kris Costa brings a keen understanding of dual enrollment and articulation. As the Tech Prep grant manager and project coordinator, for College of the Sequoias, Kris facilitated the development of local articulation agreements and coordinated the college’s bridge (concurrent enrollment) program. In 2006, Kris joined the team at the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges as the Articulation Liaison for the Statewide Career Pathways Project, while continuing her role with COS locally. She has continued her role as Articulation Liaison for the Statewide Career Pathways project facilitating the development of statewide curriculum models and programs of study for CTE areas.

Kris Costa is the Career Pathways Engagement Manager for Tulare County Office of Education. In her role, she facilitates, assists, implements, and supports consortium-wide development of college and career pathways that lead to post-secondary certificates, credentials or advanced degrees and fosters the development of a shared vision for successful community college and university transition.
